It seems the Baha'i Community have started a sort of P:150Y project.  It started around 1863.  The global Baha'i administrative centre, based in Haifa, The Universal House of Justice, published a small but inspiring booklet in 1985 titled The Promise of World Peace. The gist of it is an outline of a lot of the spiritual and social requisites for lasting world peace.  Check it out (only 4 webpages long):

At P:5Y we are basically talking about Political Peace (an end to Wars) right?

This'll require a critical mass of grass roots activists working through the semblances of democratic governments (the current pathetic voices of our respective country's on the world stage), urging them to hold counsel together to establish once and for all the principles of collective security that will ensure that no nation ever rises up against another without the full weight of the collective security of nations denying the oppressor the waging of war.     more >>

I returned safely from Israel-Palestine on Saturday night. Upon leaving the country, I was questioned about my trip, my travels to Arab countries, and my name and family heritage. A few of us had to unpack our suitcases for extra screening, but all in all we made it through without too much trouble.     more >>

Monday morning we awoke to the news that the Free Gaza flotilla bearing humanitarian supplies to Gaza had been attacked by the Israeli military, and some of those accompanying the flotilla had been killed. Later that day, in Ramallah in the West Bank, we attended a peaceful protest against this Israeli military action and in solidarity with those who were killed.    more >>

Over Memorial Day weekend, while we barbecued ribs, relaxed in the pervasive sunshine, and waved our symbols of patriotism, a drama unfolded off the cost of Gaza that will, in the near term at least, drastically shift our understanding of the Israeli Palestinian conflict.    more >>
