Check out www.peaceplease.com; they are organizing a mass protest on March 20th to bring attention to the cost of the Iraq and Afghan wars. Just remember: the $960 billion dollars spent in Iraq is a hefty chunk of change. Makes you wonder what our country would look like if we had spent it on something else.

Our research has told us that there are several NGOs already in place in Israel working to bring an end to this conflict. They primarily hold conferences between Arabs and Jews in order to bring dialogue to the discrimination against one another. Ultimately it appears, as they have not gotten very far due to their lack of support from the outside world, which appears to have written off this conflict as religious ranting. It is clear that both sides are fighting for a single piece of land, which is deemed holly and therefore a large asset which can not be moved, changed, or rebuilt.    more >>

It's become apparent in our research that a robust non-violent movement on the part of BOTH Palestinians, and Israelis is key to breaking the cycle of violence. This is a sentiment echoed many times over by groups such as the UN, Oxfam, and the United States Government. But another interesting fact is that throughout the years, almost all non-violent movements in the region have failed.    more >>

Prominent Muslim Leader Issues Fatwa against Terrorism

Sheikh Tahir ul-Qadri, a Pakastani born Sheikh who now resides in England, issued a fatwa against acts of terrorism. His fatwa (a religious ruling based on Islamic law and the Koran) is the most comprehensive and expansive commentary on the matter.
