Children

Of all the bad things that happen to children, war is the worst. Child soldiers are made to do terrible things. Children are orphaned, starved, displaced, and abused. In an atmosphere of war, children are among the most vulnerable victims.

Children also have the most to gain from abolishing political violence from our planet. Children can grow up into a new world of education, health care, love, and opportunity that is not available in a world at war.

If you have children, or know children, or care about children, then keeping them all safe from war—now and in the future—should be important to you.
