Foundation for Global Collaboration and Peace

Foundation for Global Collaboration and Peace Logo

The Foundation for Global Collaboration and Peace is a a non-profit organization that promotes equality, inter-community communication, cross-cultural collaboration, peaceful conflict resolution and global peace building through the emphasis on and worldwide dissemination of scientifically proven data regarding universal human commonalities

Given the similarities in the Foundation's and P:5Y's end goals of global peace, I have decided to start a team here on P:5Y for those who would like to join our peace-building efforts.  Below please find the Foundation's Vision and Mission Statements and you can see details of how to get involved with the Foundation on our Get Involved page.

Our Vision:

Through the emphasis of universal human commonalities, the Foundation for Global Collaboration and Peace provides a basis for on-going dialogue between communities worldwide, in order to better collaborate on a global scale to achieve and maintain peace holistically

Our Mission Objectives:

  1. Build a virtual library with scientific knowledge about universal human commonalities, in order to foster global collaboration and peace.
  2. Make this data available to the worldwide audience by translating it into all currently in-use languages
  3. Adapt the data so that it is accessible to children and adults with varying reading levels and scientific understanding
  4. In building this project, foster collaboration between various communities, disciplines and nationalities in order to approach human rights and world peace in a holistic fashion
  5. Highlight the often invisible human commonalities to overshadow our instinct to prejudge based on visual, auditory and other obvious differences such as gender, race, nationality, etc.
  6. Show what everyday life is like around the world
  7. Provide a live forum for discussion and exchange of ideas
  8. Fund on-going studies into human commonalities, especially in areas where information is lacking or outdated
  9. Connect activists with organizations serving their subject area and location of interest
